Gersito turns 11

Wow, time goes by so fast! I can't believe that boy is 11. If there is one thing I have noticed about Gersito this summer is that he is becoming more responsible lately. It is so cute to see him grow up and getting closer to becoming a teenager.

Since we didn't celebrate today, we will be celebrating tomorrow by going to the beach. Pictures will hopefully be posted in a couple days from now.

Karen's Wedding

I'm obviously behind on posting. Here are a couple of pictures from our trip for Karen's wedding. It was so beautiful....they both sang their vows to each other. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the actual wedding. Justin and I were busy. I was in the wedding and Justin helped set up - it was a VERY busy day, but well worth it.

Fathers Day 2009

Happy Fathers Day to my Dad, Dad-in-law and especially to the father in our house. Baby, I know that things are not easy for you having to be away all the time and not being able to enjoy being around the kids, but soon those days will be over and we will all be able to be together everyday. Heck, then you will be wishing you got to leave for a few days every now and then!

So, I hope all you fathers had a great fathers day. Here are some pictures that we took on father's day. Since Justin was not able to be home, we got to enjoy another father we love.....

Ian has been saying and doing the cutest things lately I just had to share them with you. Lately when we are in the car Ian has been singing along with the radio. Today I decided to record him with my cell phone. I planned on posting it but I can't seem to get the file uploaded. I will have to try again later to see if I can do it. So, finally when the song was over he looked down and saw my arm out holding my phone in front of him, when he saw that he yelled, "Wha-a-a-t?" as if he was embarrassed that he got busted just belting it out in the back seat. It was really cute.

I have also noticed he has been missing his Daddy lately. The other morning out of no where he says, "Mommy, when my Daddy coming back?" It was so cute and just to make sure I heard him correctly I said, "What?" And, again he told me, "When my Daddy coming back?" Then yesterday evening his spaghetti fell on him and it was kind of hot and he said, "Ow, you burned me....my Daddy don't burn me." I could not believe him. Such a stinker! He acted as though I had burned him and his Daddy would not have done that or allowed that to happen to him.

And, another cute thing he does all the time is say, "No thank you" when someone offers him something he doesn't want. What a sweetie using his manners.

So, thats all the stories for now. I'm supposed to be doing homework so I should probably get back to it. Have a good day everyone!

Where does the time go?

Okay, okay....everyone has been getting after me about not blogging. What can I say, time just goes by so fast these days. I've got so much to talk about, but no pictures. First off, everyone has been asking us for pictures of the house. Unfortunately, we don't have any because the house is no longer on the market. And, because we looked at so many, we didn't have time to take any pictures. So, everyone will have to wait until we can take some ourselves and post them...except for those friends and family who are coming with us to help us move.

In the meantime, summer has begun. Ash and Elyse are visiting family and Val and Kayla (Val's best friend) have been inseparable since school let out. They have been going back and forth between our house and Kayla's house. Gersito has been hanging out with some of his friends at a swimming pool party, hanging out with me (until I go back to school) and soon will be visiting his Grandma and then his Dad.

Ian has just been growing up so fast. He talks so much and he has been so independent these days. He has to do everything himself, which most of you can recall is sometimes frustrating when you are in a hurry. He is also very clumsy. Poor baby, falls down just walking (he gets that from his father). :) He's got those long legs that just seems to get in his way sometimes.

So, our busy, crazy life goes on. I can't wait until things settle down, but I have a feeling that won't happen until we move and finally get settled into our new house. Until then, we've got lots of packing, lots of school work and lots of things to get done before we leave.
