Beach Fun!

I took the kids to the beach the other day - Elyse has been visiting her Grandma so you won't see her in these pictures, but here is the rest of the gang!

So Sweet.

We have the best kids ever! First of all, I woke up this morning to a very clean house. I saw they organized some drawers that needed to be cleaned out, organized the books on the bookshelf and much more. Valerie & Ashlynne stayed up until 6 a.m. this morning just cleaning for me.

Then.....when I came home from picking up Ian from day care, I was welcomed into the restaurant called "Wolf Gang Paco" (don't ask how they came up with that name). Supposedly they say it means "place of happy food". So, after they seated me I was given the menu which had pork chops & mashed potatoes on it (the pork chops I had stuck in the oven before I went to pick up Ian). My Chef's name was Latino (Ashlynne) and my waitress was named Jessica (Valerie). The restaurant had wonderful food and the service was great. The only thing disturbing about this restaurant was the fact that there was a baby in the kitchen and lots of loud banging noises and giggling.

Aren't kids funny! :)

By the way, I'm told I will be eating at "Wolf Gang Paco" for the rest of this week. If anyone would like to enjoy this experience, feel free to stop by around dinner time, however, I do recommend skipping out before desert comes! LOL

Jumping Fun!

Today I took the kids to Flippin Out. They had a good time so I thought I would share some of those pictures with you.

Ice Skating

Well, the kids had a blast ice skating the other day. It was Ashlynne & Elyse's 2nd time ever going and Val & Gersito's 1st time. They all did so go. Ashlynne & Valerie went out right away. They did so good. Considering the first time that Ashlynne & Elyse went wasn't much success, we would have never known it the way Ashlynne was ice skating. She did so well. I was also very impressed with Valerie because she acted like she had been out there before too.

As far as Elyse and Gersito, well, they finally got out there. Elyse clung to the wall most of the time but still did so much better than what I heard she did the first time. Gersito, shocked us all. All the kids kept coming up to me telling me how great Gersito was doing. I did get to watch him for a little bit and he was going so fast. He also did really well.

Overall, the experience was a good one so we will have to do it again sometime. Ian just danced to the music and ate cookies and pretended to play video games. I think he enjoyed it too.

Here are a few pictures.... (1st = all the big kids; 2nd = Ashlynne & Val; & 3rd = Ian)

Our Vacation

Our vacation was nice although roughing it really isn't Justin & I's favorite thing to do, but for all of you who have kids, you know that vacations are about the kids having a good time. We went to Garner State Park and camped for a few days and then went to Sea World in San Antonio. It was nice. Ashlynne caught a fish which was our first time to catch anything after 3 camping trips. We even hiked on a steep mountain (even Ian did with our help). We had a good time. Here are some pictures for you to see! A couple of the photos look a little blurry because I fell on my butt in the lake. Oh well, I survived! :)

Thank you!

Thank you everyone for the cool gifts that you gave Ian for his birthday. Here is a video of Ian playing with one of his new toys!

4th of July

I just had to share this video. My voice sounds weird but as you will hear in this video Eric scares me to death. My voice goes from scared to excited once I notice that Ian was okay and he loved it. Also, just for the record, Ian LOVED going down that slide with Uncle Eric. Actually, he really only wanted to go down the slide with him. When Dad and Uncle Kenny tried bringing him down the slide, he got scared -- they were very clumsy and kept sliding down every time they tried to climb up the stairs. It was hilarious! Enjoy the video! Thanks Uncle Eric!
